Players

Sam Bullard

When not jumping around with the frogs, our clarinetist Sam hops between groups such as the Pasadena Roof Orchestra, Syd Lawrence Orchestra and many West End shows. He has performed at all major jazz venues in London and also enjoys teaching the tadpoles to swing.

Gav Broom

Gav on Alvar street

Between belching his amphibious tones at his least favourite garden gnomes, and feasting on the local six legged brew, Gavin spends the rest of his days playing the trumpet. He has croaked his way through many of the West End of London’s top musical theatre shows, along with being a founder member of the Heritage Orchestra when he was a mere tadpole. His freelance work has included artists such as Quincy Jones, Pete Tong, Tim Minchen, McFLY and many more. Gavin also loves building Lego lilly pads when he finds a minute to himself.

Jon Stokes

Equally at home on water as he is on land, Jon can often be found kicking around Crystal Palace Pond when he's not hopping round the country with a trombone. He is also rather keen on eating out and cooking but tends to avoid French cuisine. The music of New Orleans gets Jon particularly frothy but he has also been spotted in London's glittering West End as well as with many of the coutries finest bands and orchestras.

Thomas Gray

Spawned from a string-playing genus of amphibian, guitarist-singer Tom, aka Newt the Lute, has rocked and ribbetted his way around the world, equally happy performing with orchestral, choral, jazz, pop, theatre, chamber and studio ensembles. He also writes and produces ditties and soundtracks. Tom’s metamorphosis into Tree Frog came at the behest of Mike “Bullfrog” Poyser (Tuba) who pinned him down in a Brentford pond until Tom agreed to join these fine honkers.

Mike Poyser

Mike Poyser is an avid frog lover who happens to also play the tuba. His tuba playing and interest in all kinds of music has spawned a wonderfully diverse career. He’s played on film soundtracks, on number 1 albums, in prog rock bands, folk groups, jazz bands and orchestras. His favourite type of footwear is open toad sandals.....

Pat Levett

Pat Levett has played drums and recorded with many many wonderful musicians. These include The James Taylor Quartet, Paloma Faith and Tom Jones. His favourite joke is What do you call a woman with a frog on her head? (Lily is the answer)
